New Year Eve Ritual + 11 days of intention setting for 2019

This date of the year is very powerful and it’s important to make the most of it. Let’s take a moment to reflect on this year’s journey and what comes next for 2019.

The last day of the year has a lot of meaning in my life. As most of you know, my dear mother Diana has taught me a lot about living life with intention. One of the rituals we used to practice together takes place on the last day of the year, and today December 31st of 2018, I am honored to share it with you and ready to pass on her valuable teachings.

Feel free to follow this simple step-by-step guide, or modify it as you please. The best rituals come from the heart.

  • Set-up your sacred space: cleanse, purify and prep your space before your intentional practice. Have everything you need such as a journal, pen, candles, etc., handy. I personally love smudging some sage and lighting a candle.

  • Ground yourself: close your eyes, take a couple of deep breaths, connect with yourself and bring out a sense of gratitude for this moment and your 2018.

  • Journal: open up, let your feelings out. Imagine with confidence that what you write WILL in fact happen. Take a moment to transfer on the paper what you intend for this new year. Be specific! My mom and I used to write about each area of our lives (love, career, finances, relationships, self-care, leisure, etc).

  • Visualize: after journaling, I invite you to do a closed-eyes visualization of what you wrote actually coming to life. Feel it in your body, feel the excitement building up. Personally, I feel it in my chest, followed by happy and bright energy flowing through my body.

Thank you for another wonderful year together! Follow along and join us daily for the next 11 days of intention setting for 2019.

Much love + light, Cin.
