About our Candles

Our candles are handmade with love to provide a one-of-a-kind high-quality experience that enlivens the senses and serves as a reminder of the power we each have to create the life we want.

Based out of Venice Beach, California, Lucin prides itself in creating one of a kind candles with the best ingredients and intentions. Each candle is hand poured in small batches and made with an all-natural coconut wax blend. To create each fragrance, our candles are mixed with phthalate free premium grade fragrance and essential oils. Our wicks are made out of cotton which is not only a natural fiber but it produces less smoke and soot when the candle burns. There are absolutely no added dyes or chemicals. 

Unique scent blends

We believe scent has the power to influence our mood, transport us places, bring back memories and invoke images. All of our candle scents are blends are uniquely curated by Cin to bring forth the power and distinctive qualities of each intention, and conjure an experience and mood that elevates each one. The designs of the labels are all prints of original watercolor marks made in house, with each color painted purposefully to evoke its own intention.

About our team

Lucin is an inspired venture founded by Cin Kats in 2016 to bring together her skills, passions, desire-to-give-back and the entrepreneurial legacy of her family. As the founder and candlemaker, Cin partnered with her good friend Naira Hart who shared her vision of living life intentionally and plays the role of creative director and co-founder. They work closely behind the scenes and are committed to bringing light, love, and other intentions within the community and across the globe. Today, Lucin is proud to be woman-owned with the mission of empowering others to live a life full of intention, one candle at a time.

Some background

Cin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina into an entrepreneurial family that always challenged her to be smart, independent and in contribution. She started helping sell pre-made candles in her parents' gift store around age 9, and as she grew to embrace her mother’s love for fragrances and her own passion for craft making, Cin started making her own fragrance oil blends and candles to sell at age 10.

A Mother’s legacy

She remembers how her mom, Diana, would wake up every morning and journal about what she was grateful for and what she intended to attract each day before going to open and run her store. Cin would watch as her mother’s declarations would constantly come true.  In her early twenties, Cin decided to practice the same gratitude and intention daily journaling that she saw her mother do, especially detailing out exactly what she was looking for in a boyfriend. Within 6 months, while working in hospitality, she met and fell in love with her now husband, Paul. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 for love with the blessing of her mother who saw how happy she was. Unfortunately, Diana lost her battle with heart failure and passed away in July of 2014. After launching Lucin, Cin started to really see how much of her mom’s legacy lived on in who she had become as an entrepreneur. Diana was a go-getter/go-giver, very generous, abundant, innovative, and courageous. Every day, Cin seeks to honor Diana with her own innovation and courage, sharing their mutual love for living an intentional life.

Living with intention means living a healthier, happier, more connected and purposeful life. We believe that taking a moment to set an intention creates value in all areas of our lives. We step into everything we’re doing being clear on what we want to create, and what results we want to see manifest and come to life.  We are in the driver’s seat, and our intentions navigate us to our destination.
