Candle Care
Candle Care
-
Be sure to allow at least 2 hours for your first burn OR until the entire top layer of wax melted to maximize the life of your candle.
-
Trim the wick to ¼ inch each time before lighting. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large.
-
Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. This will also help prevent possible heat damage.
-
Keep lit candles away from fans, vents or direct access to air currents.
-
Store candle in a cool and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.
-
Do not touch or move a burning candle.
-
Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes too large. Let the candle cool, trim the wick before re-lighting.
-
Always keep the candle within your sight.
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.
Recycle or repurpose your jars
We highly encourage you to recycle and repurpose your jars! They can be used as vases, plants pots, propagation, containers, storage, etc.
To recycle or repurpose your jar, we recommend scooping out the remaining wax from the bottom of the jar with a spoon. Then, thoroughly wiping the excess wax left on the jar with a dry paper towel (this will keep your label intact). You can also wash the vessel with warm water and soap to have a blank canvas for your creations!
If you are in the Los Angeles area, we offer a 10% off discount on refilling your jars! Send us a message to coordinate your drop off >> Due to COVID-19 we have paused our refilling program for safety reasons. Feel free to reach out to our team for more ideas or guidance on how to repurpose your vessels. Thank you for your understanding - Lucin Candle Studio.
